Unlimited Tweets, Faster Performance
The feature requests are coming in thick and fast for JournoTwit – and we are listening to all of your feedback! Everything is made note of and we will try and implement every request – the order is unknown and largely dependent on “the big picture”.
We're currently working on a related project to JournoTwit which means that the work we are doing has improved JournoTwit – but perhaps not where we might otherwise have moved our focus.
The latest version has moved to using a database rather than the simpler caches we were using before. The immediate upshot of this, is faster response times and currently, no limit on how many tweets will be cached - and how far back they will go. Performing a local search on your main feed in 3 months time for a #hashtag from an event 2 months ago, will actually be able to return to you those results.
We're also now in a much stronger position to implement new features – such as Mark as Read on a per tweet basis, and the ability to view your grid in a time snap shot (last Thursday for example). So look out for this in future Edge editions.
For the moment, enjoy the latest version and report any please report any strange behaviour! Especially those of you using non-Latin character sets :) - Spode

Well, now you have no excuses ;-) And don't forget the keyboard shortcuts to go up and down in columns, if possible :-)
